Tien's 19th

I'm so happy because Tien's surprise was a success!!! And I was so sure that it was gonna fail lol

I asked her out for dinner on her birthday, so she thought that she was going out on a date with me. Initial plan was to shop for bikinis and have dinner at strictly pancakes! 

Got balloons for her since my workplace sells balloons anyway. Picked out the colors myself, so nice right?!

Carrying balloons in the mrt really sucks though. Everyone's like staring at you wondering if it's your birthday or whatever and sometimes the balloons will accidentally hit people in the face lol

So I met Tien and she was like "OMG YOU GOT BALLOONS!!!!" Haha so that was surprise #1 I think. We were supposed to shop for bikinis but I tied it to the topshop bag so the balloons wouldn't fly away... So she realized that she didn't have to shop after all

But then I lied and said that I haven't gotten mine when I actually got mine on the same day I got hers. It was to stall time for Elaine and Ade to get to strictly pancakes first hahaha

Thankfully Tien enjoys wasting time as much as I do so we just went around walking and taking photos

I wonder if she was very sad to be my date that night lol

But whatever!!!!! 

So at around 8 we headed to strictly pancakes for our dinner "date", and then Elaine and Ade suddenly popped out and "SURPRISE" and yes Tien didn't suspect anything at all, as usual, because, she's damn blur

While all this was happening I was in cahoots with Ryshire (Tien's AC friend), cos they wanted to surprise her as well. It was damn fail cos I thought Ryshire wanted me to bring Tien to Starbucks but she meant outside Cathay, so I was like "oh I decided not to drink Starbucks anymore, let's go SOTA instead" which was damn suspicious right?!!!! Thankfully.... My friend... is damn blur

So yes surprise #3 was a success!!!!!

So yes this concludes Tien's 19th birthday!!! It's our 6th (omfg) year celebrating birthdays for each other and I swear it keeps getting better :) definitely my favorite group of people on earth. It's amazing how close we are despite walking different paths, and how easily we click with each other (there was this girl at strictly pancakes who was like "OMG THIS IS MY SONG!!!! LET IT GOOOOOOO LET IT GOOOOO" in a totally bimbo voice and ALL of us had the same reaction: look away and try our hardest not to burst out laughing. It was so hard). Yes, we're all bitches HAHAHA. Love you girls, really can't wait for our next meet up!
