Cake pops

HI GUYS today I'm gonna be teaching you how to make cake pops!!! Cake pops are trending right now (right?), and surprisingly it's really easy to make although it is pretty time consuming. Even an idiot like me was able to make it hahaha I'm pretty sure you can too.

First step is to prepare cake! Liya and I bought the cake mix which comes with a set of instructions, so it was damn easy to bake. I think you can just buy a premade cake from any bakery. Liya didn't have the baking sheet so we made them into little cupcakes first

After that you just have to make them into little crumbs! You can do that by rubbing pieces of cakes together or just using your hands to make them into tiny crumbs.

Step two is to prepare frosting. K I have no idea what the fuck is frosting but the video tutorial said frosting so... I went to buy the Hershey cocoa powder which had instructions on how to make frosting. No baking is needed, you just have to add the cocoa powder, powdered sugar and other stuff which I forgot and mix them together. Then you'll end up w some sticky kind of cream thing that looks a lot like melted chocolate.

Next is to mix the frosting and cake crumbs together. Anyway the frosting is so that the cake crumbs will be able to stick together, cos you gotta shape them into tiny balls! Without the frosting your balls will be unable to stay in place and just crumble away.

Next is to melt chocolate. I think any chocolate will do, just melt them in a cup over a fire :)

So after mixing them and shaping them into tiny balls, you gotta poke them with pretty lollipop sticks. Dip the sticks in melted chocolate first to help the balls stick better. After that just place them in the freezer for about five minutes so that they turn cold.

Then, slowly dribble chocolate all over the cake balls! The chocolate will harden (I don't really get the theory but it's like the macdonald chocolate coated ice cream. Like they always dip into chocolate then it magically hardens right?! Yup same theory HAHA)

Then... Have fun decorating!!!

I bought white and strawberry chocolate and heart shaped decorations and sprinkles. Look so cute right?!

Final products!! Bought pretty wrapping paper as well to finish up the look. I swear they look so pretty.

Liya and I were so happy with our work HAHA we spent so much time on it!! Thanks for helping me with my "project"! :*

So yup that's how we made our cake pops! It's really fun, although we were damn tired after that. You can try it at home!!! :)
