Childhood friends.

I just heard from my mom that my two childhood friends will be going to jail soon... They actually broke into their neighbour's house (it was a bungalow so they simply climbed over the fence) in the middle of the night. They weren't caught so they decided to do it again the next morning but unfortunately for them, they were caught red-handed. I have absolutely no idea what was going on in their heads at that moment. I'm pretty certain that I would never rob the same house twice within 24 hours.

I feel sorry for them. Although I know that they were in the wrong and they deserve to be punished, I wish that they would be given a second chance. They're not bad by nature, it's just because of their irresponsible parents! I was fuming mad when my mom told me all about them... Their father is the boss of a big company so he's busy most of the time. A typical father who leaves home early in the morning before his child wakes up and comes home only after his child is sound asleep. Their mother is was a housewife who got lonely without her husband so she decided to party with the friends from morning till night, hence neglecting her children... The reason why I replaced the "is" with a "was" was because they aren't together anymore. They got a divorce a few months ago and she didn't even want to fight for custody!

So as I was saying, they're not bad by nature... They've been neglected. They broke the law because they wanted the attention that they couldn't get from their parents. They weren't loved like how most of us are. Most of my childhood days were spent with them and they were beautiful. :) I really miss them, I wanted to see them but my dad told me to stay away...
