I came late on the first day of internship cos I had my 21st party the day before so I had to check out of the hotel first. I arrived during lunch and all of us sat at a long table where we introduced ourselves again. And the first thing I noticed was that there were a lot of guys in our group, like 7?? And only 3 girls hahaha. It was a very awkward first lunch and I was dying for the day to end hahaha and I couldn't imagine the rest of the days to come, 9-5 sounded horrible to me.
There was this girl who recognised me and asked if I was from AJ and I found out she was Queenie's friend!! But I didn't recognise her hahaha toh but okay she was damn noisy and my first impression was that she was kind of weird?? Like the very hyper and zihigh kind of weird. Little did I know that this quality of hers was what brought the group closer and made everyday interesting and something to look forward to. So thank you Yiqing, for being you, the bubbly crazy zihigh mad insane weird funny adorable annoying (at times HAHAHA) AMAZING you. Really thankful that you are in group 4 and that I am in group 4 and that 2 of us were the only 2 girls in the group during that period where Su and Nat were away. Our friendship is one of the biggest takeaways in internship and I hope that we'll still be as close even after school starts.
The night before I flew off to Taiwan HAHAHA my flight was at 7am and I only got home at 1???
Just as about we were getting closer, I went for Taiwan and missed 7 days of intern? Which was quite sad cos there are a lot of off sites which means that we could meet somewhere else to do our project = have fun HAHAHA. Luckily things wasn't weird when I came back, I could fit in quite well and things were going great.
All those trips to GR's clubhouse was amazing. It's like my second home HAHAHA we would just go there to chill for hours on end, swim, play guitar, gym, study, eat, everything. Gonna crash that place even when you're in Sweden LOLOL
Next highlight was Gan Ah Seng course. It's this leadership development course and I think I blogged about it before?? If I didn't then sorry HAHA but yeah oh man 3D2N without our phones were quite insane!! And we pretty much sat in the room from 8 to 5, with very few breaks. The only breaks were lunch and dinner where we were told to eat fast and not allowed to talk to one another (and for the whole 3d2n but we kinda didn't follow the rule haha oops). I sat quite in front of the instructor, I was the 4th person?? So I usually got punished cos we wouldn't know what we did wrong until like the 6-7th person lol wtf and the punishments were insane. Like 40squats?? And there was PT lol we did sit ups and leg raises in office wear lol can u imagine. But aside from all that I really gained a lot of lessons. Some things you already know, but you don't realise yet, and I think that really opened up my mind to thinking about the future. Before I didn't know what to do, and I always thought that I had all the time in the world. But people at my age or even younger, already have their whole life planned out. So I made a few goals in my mind, and I kinda know what I want to do after I graduate from Uni :-) So yep super thankful for this course. And I was lucky enough to be seated across this guy called Adam and beside this guy called Weiliang who are both already working for AA, they're like freaking funny can!!! Especially Adam hahaha he kept raising his glass and asking me to drink my glass of water lolol epic max and idk why it never gets old?? We'd pretend to cheers like 10x from 8-5 but I never fail to try and suppress my laughter lol
Thank god I was in the same group as the both of you. I cannot imagine doing our assignment with anyone else, thank you both for being such a lovely group to work with even though we spend more time having fun than doing work :')
Next highlight was Krabi!!!! And yes all expenses were paid for, the plane ticket, the ridiculously large and beautiful hotel room, and even our food was paid by our mentors/boss Chuan. Really grateful for them and their generosity.
Krabi was just amazing. We landed and was immediately brought to dinner at this restaurant, it was this outdoor restaurant on top of a hill and the view was great. We ate, sang along with the live band, and had a couple of beers and it was just good vibes everywhere :') then we checked in and we decided to explore the area around our hotel and ended up eating coconut ice cream and crepes and shit haha
Day 2 was beach day!! It was really like camp style where we competed against other groups and as even had cheers and a flag for each group?? And our cheer was damn lupsup but damn funny, our mentor kept laughing when we were practicing hahaha and it goes like this

HAHAHA omg the memories man we had so much fun while cheering but omg the judges weren't too happy cos damn lupsup I think their faces were damn straight?? But we made a lot of ppl laugh and we had fun most importantly hehe
After the games we went to snorkel!! The variety of fish was quite limited so it was damn disappointing but it was super fun! Snorkelled before but it was still fun, esp when Yiqing keep screaming when fishes swam near her hahaha
Day 3 was free and easy and we decided to go rafting and this bitch stole my partner Guangrong. Still a bit mad about it. Like I already made it clear that he was my partner and she (btw she's not an intern. Wtf right!!!!!!) told Yiqing "ask her find someone else la" LIKE HOW ABOUT U FIND SOMEONE ELSE omg but since she's not an intern *cough* I have to just suck it up lor????
But rafting was quite bullshit cos the water was fucking shallow and dirty like the swamp kind and not the clear waters we snorkelled at. Felt pretty cheated zzz. After that we went to eat and play pool and drink (think I drank a lot during intern cos it's always free) but GR got sick with a very high fever :( but we nursed him to health cos we were htht-ing until 4-5am?? Sadly it was our only htht session cos the prev nights were too tiring :( but omg I just love u guys??
Day 4 and it was time to go home boohoo :(
So yep Krabi trip was short but fulfilling. Love my group and so thankful!!!!
Next is dnd!! Didn't take an ootd shot haha lol. Tbh I think I've become very ugly over time like I really hate looking in the mirror now. But anyway it was held and Ford Canning Hotel and it was grand af!!!

Photos are quite bad but it's the company that counted :-) so yeah this ends off my intern post!! I'm really thankful to everyone I've met in AA. You guys have no idea how big a part you guys played in my life. Thanks for saving me when I was at again another hard point in my life. To the mentors and everyone in AA, thanks for grooming us to be amazing individuals, and even though I didn't rnf I really enjoyed my time as an intern with AA. It was an amazing first internship, and I am so thankful I gave it a chance. I came into this internship thinking I know everything, but I came out realising that I have everything to learn. And I can't be more thankful than that :-)
